Home Made Cranberry Sauce

I love cranberries.
Easy, easy, easy to make.
Courtesy of my friend Sue.

Cup of water
Cup of sugar
12 ounce bag of cranberries
Can of mandarin oranges, drained (my idear)

Over high heat, bring water/sugar to a boil.
Add cranberries--reduce heat to simmer and cook until they pop.
Stir in mandarin oranges. (It is okay if they break up a bit.)
Mash the whole mess until you get the consistancy you want
OR don't if you like it chunky.
If you don't like it chunky, run it through a food mill.
Pour into a dish and put in fridge to chill/set/jell.

While setting up this page, I found a recipe that
uses a cup of orange juice in place of the water--I may try that.
