On our way to Jefferson, Texas back in March 2001,
we saw a HUGE billboard in Marshall, Texas touting:
"The Antique Capitol Of East Texas - Gladewater"
with a big arrow <--- pointing where to turn on Highway 80.
Of course, this caught my attention immediately.
After a quick search on the internet,
I phoned the Chamber of Commerce and requested an information packet.
We then made plans to again stay in Jefferson to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary.
Gladewater was about an hour away from Jefferson and this was the find of the day.
Hunny Bunny spotted this ½ gallon and I was thrilled to get it for $9!!!
