Golden Granola

From: The Quaker Oats Wholegrain Cookbook

3 Cups Oats
1 Cup Shredded or Flaked Coconut
1 Cup Coarsely Chopped Nuts
¼ Cup Honey
¼ Cup Butter or Margarine, Melted
1½ Teaspoons Cinnamon
½ Teaspoon Salt
2/3 Cup Raisins (or any dried fruit)

Combine all ingredients, except raisins, in ungreased 13 x 9 baking pan;
(I line mine with parchment paper) mix well.
Bake in preheated moderate 350° oven
for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently.
Cool thoroughly; stir in raisins or dried fruit.
Store tightly covered in cool, dry place or in refrigerator.
Serve as cereal with milk or as a snack.
Yield about 6 cups.
Note: If you make a double batch, the baking time will be longer.
