A & P Coffee Scoop - June 28, 2003

I was brought up in the mid-west and remember A & P grocery stores.
In fact, (I think) an uncle of mine worked for A & P as a meat cutter.
I wonder if this was a "give away" item perhaps with a pound of coffee???
We found this in a shop in Jefferson, Texas on our 21st wedding anniversary weekend.
It is a brilliant addition Hun Bun's coffee jar collection and
will join the rest of the gadgets hanging on my utensil rack.
It is in excellent condition and was $5.
